The family of fruit trees containing the mulberry is one that primates have been relying on for potentially their entire evolutionary history. That is to say, we share a common bond with these trees that goes back to our very origin. Mulberry is a phenomenally vigorous tree, producing roots branches leaves and fruit incessantly. I collect seeds from individual trees that I harvest fruit from because of their wonderful qualities of size, flavor, yield, and length of harvest window.
