Aka Saskatoon, juneberry, serviceberry, Amalanchier alnifolia. These are grown from seed, but are clones! Amazingly, these seeds are created by self fertilizing without any foreign genetic material, which is a rare botanical trait. The berries from this variety are incredibly tasty, juicy, and the 12-15’ tall shrubs bear prolifically.
